WONLY Security Team Achieves Guinness World Records™ Title for Longest Lockpicking Livestream

A public, nonstop technical challenge in Yongkang placed WONLY security locks under more than 24 hours of continuous scrutiny.

WONLY Security Team has achieved a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the longest lockpicking livestream (video). The record attempt, organized by Wangli Security & Surveillance Product Co., Ltd., concluded in Yongkang, Zhejiang, China, on 10 September 2026.

The recognition followed a fully public technical challenge staged from 9 to 10 September. According to the event record supplied by WONLY, 24 certified locksmiths took turns examining and attempting to open the selected WONLY security-lock configuration during a continuous livestream lasting more than 24 hours. No participant achieved a successful technical opening within the challenge period and rules.

A Public Test, Not a Closed-Door Demonstration

The purpose of the event was to make physical-security performance observable. Rather than presenting a laboratory result without context, WONLY placed the lock system in front of professional challengers and a live audience for an extended, uninterrupted test.

Lock resistance is only one part of entrance security.
